NLP
(Neuro Linguistic Programming)
"There is nothing much like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered."
Nelson Mandela
NLP is how to use the language of the mind (how you think and behave) to achieve specific and desired outcomes (what you want).
NEURO - The nervous system (the mind) through which our experience is processed via the five senses.
LINGUISTIC - Language and other communication systems through which our neural representations are coded, ordered and given meaning.
PROGRAMMING - The ability to discover and utilise the programmes that we run in our neurological systems.
With NLP you are able to change your behaviour by changing how you internally represent your thoughts and feelings - as your thoughts, feelings and behaviours are all connected. It is based around working with 'process' rather than 'content' - in fact, many NLP interventions are specifically 'content free.'
NLP offers a set of pathfinding tools. It enables you to 'search from within' to discover the cause of specific problems, identify your own solutions, check the oucomes and then install new beliefs and behaviours - at an unconscious level.
